Opening Hours
Blue Button Childcare is usually open Monday - Thursday from 8:15am - 5:15pm.
Blue Button closes promptly at 5:15pm, so please arrive earlier than this so we can spend time chatting about your child's day.
We go on lots of trips out and have great routines in place because I only provide care for full days and there aren't any school runs. I ask that all children are here before 9am and are collected after 3:30pm, which means we can maximise our days and have the best adventures without disruption. Fore more information, please see

Blue Button opens for approximately 47 weeks of the year and is usually closed for bank holidays, 2 weeks at Christmas, 1 week at Easter and for the last 2 weeks of the summer holidays. Here is a list of our holiday dates.

Blue Button Fees
- £50 per day
- £200 for a full 4 day week

Each child receives 2 x 2 hour settling in sessions for free once the contract and relevant paperwork has been completed and a non-refundable deposit has been paid. The deposit is 2 weeks care or £100 (whichever is greater) and this is deducted from the first month's fees once the child starts their full days.
Fees are paid monthly and in advance. Invoices for the following month's care are emailed out on 20th of each month and need to be cleared by the last working day. For example, July 2023's invoices were sent out on 20th June and payment needed to be cleared before Thursday 30th June. If payment is not made, late fees will be added and care will not be provided until payment is cleared.
There is no charge for my holidays, but if a mindee does not attend during their contracted hours when I am open, fees are still to be paid.
In the unfortunate situation that a mindee is poorly and cannot attend, fees still need to be paid. If I am poorly or my son is poorly and Blue Button needs to close, families are not charged for that time and a refund will be issued on the following month's invoice.

I offer funded places for 2,3 and 4 year olds.
